Excel By 5 program started

Officials with the Madison County Business League and Madison County Economic Development Authority addressed the board about a new "Excel By 5" program they will begin in Madison County.

It is used to target at-risk children going into kindergarten and first grade to help them get ready for school.

The program was started in Pascagola and is now used in 26 different communities in Mississippi.
