Madison County Law Enforcement Appreciation Week Resolution

Madison the City Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler and the Madison Board of Aldermen signed a resolution proclaiming May 13 -19, 2018, as Madison County Law Enforcement Appreciation Week in the City of Madison. Please contact the Madison the City Chamber of Commerce for information on how you, your business, church, school or organization can get involved in thanking our officers in blue for their service.

MCBL&F Hosts Transportation Breakfast

The Madison County Business League & Foundation hosted a Transportation breakfast on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Embassy Suites Hotel in Ridgeland, MS. Over 80 committee members and elected officials attended the event. Keynote speaker was Mississippi’s Central District Transportation Commissioner Dick Hall. Madison County Engineer, Dan Gaillet, gave a status report on county roads. Other special guests comprising the panel were Senator Willie Simmons, Chairman of the MS Senate Transportation Committee, and Rep. Charles Busby, Chairman of the MS House of Representatives Transportation Committee. Read More
