Chris Roberts

Director

Chris Roberts is an Assistant Vice President with BankPlus in Ridgeland, MS and is responsible for the production of consumer and small business loans. Roberts began his banking career in 2005 with Merchants and Farmers Bank in Canton, MS. He is a native of Benton, MS, and a Graduate of Mississippi State University. He is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and will be a 2017 Graduate.

Active in his community, Roberts serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee at Galloway United Methodist Church as well as member of the Steering and Legacy Team Committee of the church. He is a graduate of both Leadership Greater Jackson and Leadership Madison County.

Other community involvement includes: Member the of the Mississippi Young Bankers Association (MYB), MYB County Chairman, Participant of MYB – Banker in Every Classroom, currently a member, as well as Past President of the Canton Rotary Club, Member of the Jackson Metro Cyclist, Mentor at Sunnybrook Children’s Home, Financial Mentor at Ridgeland and Canton High School, Canton Elks Lodge Veterans Home Christmas Chairman, MPB Between the Lions Rotary Club Reader, Canton Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament Sponsorship Chairman, Chairman of the Madison County Young Professionals Steering Committee of the Madison County Business League & Foundation, active participant in the Madison and Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce.

Chris and his wife, Lisa, have two children; Lucy (3) and Hugh Roberts (1). They live in the Lake Lorman Community in Madison County.
