Originally from West Point, Alabama, graduated from West Point High School. After moving to Memphis, attended Memphis State University majoring in Business Management. Worked for Kraft Foods for thirty two years in sales, marketing, technology and in management. After early retirement, worked as a consultant in marketing with cheese companies for two years.
Moved to Rankin County in 1974 and to Madison County in 1996. Served as President of the Madison County Board of Supervisors and was on the Board for four years. After my service to Madison County in 2008, became Business Manager for the Lake Caroline Owners Association where I am currently employed.
Married to Judy Jones, have two children, Keith Jones and Sarah Skelton, and four grandchildren. My hobbies are Alabama football and tinkering with antique cars.
