Immediate Past Chair
John Geary and his family have lived in Madison for years. He is managing shareholder of Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush, P.A., a Madison County law firm with offices on Highland Colony Parkway. Whit Geary, John’s wife, opened VIEW GALLERY, an art gallery in the Township on Highland Colony Parkway. John is an active member of the Madison County Business League and Foundation, serving on the government relations committee. John and Whit’s four children all attended Madison County public schools and graduated from Madison Central High School. While the children were at Madison Central, John was involved in PTO, Big Blue, and other groups. John and Whit’s son had the wonderful privilege of teaching at Nichols Middle School in Canton.
John coached little league baseball for Madison Ridgeland Youth Club for years and served as commissioner for a period of time. For several years, he coached high school lacrosse for the Madison Mississippi Lacrosse Association. He is a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison. He is the Past Chair of Young Life Committee for Madison County.
