Renee Rice is Madison County President of BankFirst. Her responsibilities include commercial lending, business development and management of the Madison county operations. Rice was previously with M&F Bank and Renasant Bank for 18 years in Madison County. She is a Columbus, MS native and a graduate of Mississippi State University earning a BBA in Banking and Finance. Further training was completed at the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU. Rice began her banking career in 1987 with Deposit Guaranty National Bank. She is a 2004 Graduate of Leadership Mississippi and a graduate of Leadership Madison County, having served as a trustee. She served on the board of directors of the Madison County Foundation and is currently a board member of the Madison County Business League and Foundation, serving as secretary-treasurer. Rice is also a board member of the Madison County Community Trust.Rice currently serves on the Finance and Economics Advisory Board at Mississippi State University and the Jackson Academy Board of Trustees, where she is secretary.Rice has also been an active volunteer for the Diabetes Foundation of MS, Girl Scouts, Relay for Life, Adopt-a-School activities and others. She has served her church as minister of hospitality and a member of the finance committee. Renee and her family are members of St. Joseph Church. AMadison county resident, Rice has two daughters, Anna Love Little (Kyle) and Meg, and is married to Pete Vozzo.
