Past Chair
Tina Lakey retired as the Mississippi District Director for CenterPoint Energy in 2017 after 38 years with the company. ‘RETIRED’ might just not fit her profile. One of Tina’s favorite things to do is give back in her community. She works with and serves on several boards including American Heart Association, Salvation Army, and Methodist Children’s Home. She was recently asked to serve on the Regional Southeast Board of Directors for AHA and the Advisory board for Madison County Business League and Foundation. She is Past Chairman of the MCBL&F Board of Directors. She also is a member of the newly formed VIPink Society with the American Cancer Society. Tina’s second passion is writing—she recently has written a book, a children’s book on bullying, I’m Just Kidding. She does devotions on line each morning and has for approximately three years. Tina lives in Madison. She is happily married to Terry Lakey. Tina and Terry are blessed with four children, a granddaughter and eleven grand pups and two grand kitties. Tina’s ‘mission’ while on this earth, is to serve God by doing His will and serving others.
