The North Madison County Excel By Coalition hosted the 3rd annual Back to School Readiness and Health Fair on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center. The event was in partnership with City of Canton Parks & Recreation. Over 400 parents and students attended the event. Pre-school children aged 0-5 years of age were presented book bags with supplies upon completion of visits to 15 exhibitors sharing kindergarten readiness information. The health fair targeted numerous health related topics pertaining to young children and teenagers.
