Madison County Business League & Foundation was honored to host U.S. Senator Roger Wicker at the 2016 “Coffee with the Senator” luncheon on August
30, 2016, at the Country Club of Jackson.
The 112th Military Police Battalion presented the colors, Incoming Adjutant General of the Mississippi National Guard Durr Boyles led the pledge of allegiance
to the American flag, the national anthem was sung by vocalist Derrick Burt and Bishop Jerry Dillon offered a powerful invocation. C Spire CEO Hu Meena
introduced Senator Wicker. Derrick Burt closed the event with a rousing rendition of Proud to be an American. Raphael Semmes and his jazz ensemble
entertained the 400 members, guests and elected officials with their Mississippi born and raised talents!
