King to Lead Workforce Innovation at AccelerateMSJan 16, 2025 – Jackson, MS — AccelerateMS, Mississippi’s lead office for workforce development strategy and coordination, has appointed Blaise King as the Director of Workforce Innovation, spearheading initiatives to develop and implement cutting-edge workforce strategies that align with Mississippi’s economic and talent priorities. In this role, King will collaborate with statewide partners to bridge the gap between education, training, and industry needs, ensuring workforce programs meet evolving employer demands. Additionally, he will enhance communication strategies to improve the flow of critical information throughout Mississippi’s workforce system. With over 15 years of experience in education, King most recently served as the Director of Career and Technical Education and Career Academies for Madison County Schools.
