As the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Madison County Business League, it is
both my honor and privilege to congratulate our Executive Director, Jan Collins for being
selected as one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women for 2011. This recognition
program has been hallmark of the Mississippi Business Journal since 1997, one of the
most respected business publications in the State.
Having worked closely with Jan over the past year, I can attest to her ability as an
achiever. Her tireless efforts in growing the Madison County Business League to its
current status of 100 members strong in just over two years time is both admirable and
demonstrative of her work ethic. We are fortunate to have someone of her caliber as an
active member of our community and the leader of Madison County’s Business League.
