Today is National Running Day! Be a part of National Running Day—a coast-to-coast celebration of running. On this day, longtime runners reaffirm their love of running and beginners can kick off a lifetime and life-changing commitment. Try to schedule a run or walk this afternoon. If you can’t fit a run into your schedule this afternoon, make a plan to start a walking or running program this week. Check out the inspiration story at the link listed below. It is never too late to start. Put a 10K, half or full marathon on your to-do or bucket list. It will change your life FOREVER!

In addition, encourage your friends or loved ones that use tobacco to join you in starting a walking or running program. Making that healthy choice may encourage them to make the choice to become tobacco-free. When individuals stop using tobacco the benefits have an immediate effect on the body. See the attached “Benefits of Quitting Smoking” flyer.

Let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.

Sincerely,
