The North Madison County Excel By 5 Steering Committee participated in the
Greater Refuge Temple’s 16th Annual Barbecue Cook-off on Saturday, June 7,
2014, on the grounds of the historic Madison County Courthouse in Canton,
MS. The newly opened Central Mississippi Child Care Resource & Referral
Center was open to the public in conjunction with North Madison County Excel
By 5 efforts. Shown are steering committee members and local children who
visited the center and received information about programs and materials
available for free checkout.
