The Madison County Business League & Foundation Transportation Committee will host a meeting on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, from 8:00 am – 9:30 am
at the Embassy Suites Hotel in the Township in Ridgeland. A light breakfast will be served. Please respond no later than Friday, January 29, 2016.
Central Mississippi Department of Transportation Commissioner Dick Hall will be our special guest speaker. He along with representatives from Senator Thad
Cochran’s Jackson office will be discussing the federal road bill. Also, Senator Josh Harkins will give an overview of his proposed legislation to
reorganize the leadership of the Jackson airport. MEC Executive Vice President & COO Scott Waller, and MEC Vice President Policy, Research, and
Member Engagement Christi Kilroy will be on hand to discuss the details of the Blueprint MS Transportation study ~ Excelerate MS. The meeting should
be very informative.
