The purpose of the meeting is to discuss how Madison County can grow its economic competitiveness and help put Mississippi in the place of greatest opportunity. Along with emphasizing economic competitiveness, topics discussed will be education achievement and workforce development, resource management, and technology commercialization.
MEC President & CEO Blake Wilson will be the keynote speaker and MEC Chairman Alveno Castillo will also participate on the program. There will be video spots from Governor Bryant, Lt. Governor Tate Reeves, Treasurer Lynn Fitch, and one of the MS Transportation Commissioners. And, a presentation by Blue Cross Blue Shield with respect to “Living a Healthier Lifestyle.”
