The purpose of the Madison County Business League is to promote the general economic welfare and development of Madison County; to aid and assist the Madison County Economic Development Authority (“MCEDA”) with the promotion, development and expansion of business, education, transportation, employment, or other common business interests of commercial enterprises in Madison County; to attempt to influence legislation germane to the common business interests in Madison County; and to work in unity with MCEDA and elected officials for the benefit of the community by promoting and increasing employment, business activity, capital investment, overall quality of life and other corresponding factors associated with economic development.
