Today we hosted our Q1 Economic Development Outlook Luncheon featuring Canton Public Schools Interim Superintendent Dwight Luckett, Madison County Schools Superintendent Ted Poore and CTE Director Bill Hardin. Each shared updates on their districts’ workforce development initiatives and ongoing efforts to prepare students for career success.
We also heard a report from Madison County Economic Development Authority Executive Director Joey Deason, who alongside Gabriel Prado announced that Madison County has officially begun the approval process to develop a new 50,000 square foot Madison County Conference Center. The facility will be located within Prado Vista at Ridgeland, a premier mixed use project by PraCon Global Investment Group.
