MCEDA REPORT: August tax diversions

Above are the tax diversions reported according to the Madison County Fiscal Year and Dept. of Revenue Fiscal Year. The first graphic is the Madison
County Fiscal Year tax diversions. The numbers reflect sales tax collected by municipalities in June – reported to DOR in July – and paid to cities
in August. Overall, the month of August looked great for all municipalities and cumulatively the municipalities showed growth of 10.91% as compared
to August 2019. Year to Date, the County is stable at 1.17% growth.

We have one more month left in our fiscal year – next month we should have a comprehensive look at the year.
