This morning at the Madison County Board of Supervisors meeting, the MCEDA team shared a 30-year revenue forecast for the AWS Data Center project in Madison County.
Madison County will begin receiving tax revenue from the project in 2027. For roughly the first six years, a portion of the revenue will be used to pay back an existing loan currently being used for public infrastructure upgrades.
From 2027 to 2056, the project is projected to generate more than $5 billion in combined FILOT and ad valorem revenue for Madison County, Ridgeland, Holmes Community College, and both the Canton and Madison County K-12 school districts — a transformative investment in our community’s future
