Since September 1, 10 hospitals throughout Mississippi have been out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi. This affects access to care for patients and their families, puts associate jobs at risk and threatens the economies where the hospitals reside.
The five Jackson hospitals – River Oaks Hospital, Central Mississippi Medical Center, Woman’s Hospital, Madison River Oaks Medical Center and Crossgates River Oaks Hospital -who make up River Oaks Health System are asking community members to stand together and support keeping our hospitals open for the health of our patients and their families.
