Madison County Business League & Foundation member Duane Matthews with AWS presented the Canton Career Center’s April “Student of the Month” award to Kennedy Brown. A dedicated high school senior enrolled in the Law & Public Safety Program, Kennedy has actively participated in SkillsUSA competitions at both the district and state levels, showcasing her commitment to career readiness. In addition to her extracurricular involvement, she earned a score of 21 on the ACT which earned her a scholarship to attend Holmes Community College this fall, where she plans to continue pursuing a career in law and public safety. Congratulations, Kennedy!
The purpose of the Student of the Month award program is to connect businesses/industries with students promoting skills needed to fulfill the Madison County workforce.
